Many people are familiar with the term “business incubator”, which emerged back in the 1960s. We’re like an business incubator, but different. We are a group of mentors who have come together to form a “business accelerator”, which is a term that emerged during the internet boom of the 1990s. Where business incubators provide a physical location and infrastructure resources, business accelerators are focused on offering start-ups or struggling companies training, mentoring, and services.
Our mentors are located in Grand Rapids and the metro-Detroit area. We worry more about your idea and/or offering and less about where your physical office is located. While we are Michigan based, Erik offers assistance to companies throughout the US.

Erik is an Evolution
We did not start our business accelerator with a hard vision for what Erik was or had be or do. Instead we let Erik evolve through a methodology that proved effective in supporting the acceleration and growth of stagnant businesses and concepts that were unable to get off the ground.
The structure of Erik is unique in that it is a collaborative effort among a multitude of self-supported and successful businesses that contribute their services and specialty (Marketing, Sales, IT, Legal, SEO, Branding, Social Media, Etc.) based on the projects needs and goals.
We’re focused on learning about your business and transferring the knowledge we have over to you so you can grow too. We want you to be a success and we’ll do whatever necessary to help make that happen.
